About Me

As a Psychiatrist, I use a combination of psychotherapy and medication for the treatment of mental health problems. I specialize in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, thought disorders, addiction, attention and focus issues, and other mental health challenges. I work with children, teens, and adults, frequently providing consultation to parents.

I studied Medicine at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. From 2009-2014 I trained as a resident physician in Psychiatry, then completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Maine Medical Center. I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry. Having practiced in a hospital setting for nearly ten years, I offer a wide range of treatment options to address a variety of problems that occur throughout life, from early childhood to older adulthood. Treatment will begin with an initial appointment for me to learn about you or your child. Once I understand what you are struggling with, we will work together to develop a plan to help you get better.

Additionally, I have experience in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, including research and training in Psychedelic Therapies for Mental Health Treatment.

My Philosophy

In a patient's treatment plan, the role of medication is most often supportive of other kinds of interventions. Personal empowerment is the primary factor in promoting mental health. I strive to offer my patients powerful, evidence-based methods to improve mental health and well-being. Treatment may include medication, psychotherapy, or addressing lifestyle factors and health habits.
