About Me
About Me
Are you ready for a change in your life? Do you want better tools to deal with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues? As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Clinical Supervisor, and Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor, I aim to support individuals and families in navigating life's challenges.
I've spent my career working with children, adolescents, and adults impacted by substance use and/or mental health challenges. I have had the opportunity to work with many diverse populations in several settings; Led teams helping patients in residential treatment settings; Group homes; Correctional facilities; and as a social worker for homeless and street-dependent youth. I see clients remotely and in person at our office in Portland, Maine.
Outside of therapy sessions, I am also a professional consultant for agencies working with children and families. I help advocate for professional behavioral health staff and assist agencies in evaluating and integrating missions for overall health and safety.
My Philosophy
I believe in your ability to achieve your goals. I can offer you a genuine, caring, non-judgmental, professional relationship to support positive change.
At the heart of my clinical practice is a deep commitment to compassion, empathy, and understanding. Mental illness and other challenges are not your fault but rather a result of complex social and environmental factors. While working together, we'll address these underlying issues while providing everyday, practical tools for coping with life's stresses and emotions.
Insurance & Payments
Currently, I am not in network with any insurance provider; however, I do offer superbills. Patients can pay in cash, check, health savings accounts, or credit card. You will receive a Good Faith Estimate upon finishing your intake assessment.
