About Me

As a Psychiatrist, I use a combination of psychotherapy and medication for the treatment of mental health problems. I specialize in treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, thought disorders, addiction, attention and focus issues, and other mental health challenges. I work with children, teens, and adults, frequently providing consultation to parents.

I studied Medicine at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. From 2009-2014 I trained as a resident physician in Psychiatry, then completed a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Maine Medical Center. I am certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry. Having practiced in a hospital setting for nearly ten years, I offer a wide range of treatment options to address a variety of problems that occur throughout life, from early childhood to older adulthood.

In 2023 I began to specialize in psychedelic psychiatry. I completed a certification program with California Institute of Integral Studies in Psychedelic Therapy and Research. Since then I have completed additional advanced studies in ketamine treatment with Ketamine Training Center. I offer highly experienced ketamine treatment in a personalized setting designed to meet your specific needs. This includes ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) as well as low-dose psychorevelatory treatment for individuals and couples.

My Philosophy

We all do the best we can in life to promote happiness for ourselves and for those we love. Sometimes we get stuck, for all sorts of reasons, and it becomes difficult for us function in particular ways. Mental health treatment is for helping calm overwhelming feelings so that we can think and act in accordance with our best selves. My aim is to provide you with the most effective tools to do that.
